Do you want to be part of our team and help spread compassion throughout the world?
Dedicated volunteers play an essential role in the mission of Clover Ridge Animal Sanctuary. We rely on a small, full-time staff, and it is essential that we have volunteers of all skill levels to help us take great care of our rescued animals. If you have any questions, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How would you like to get involved?
We need volunteers to assist with the day-to-day needs of the sanctuary which include: cleaning stalls and pastures; organizing barn shelves, sweeping cobwebs, raking; pushing wheelbarrows; general cleaning around the sanctuary; brushing goats, dogs, and playing with the cats. We offer a flexible schedule for volunteers. One time volunteer opportunities are also available
We are looking for skilled individuals to donate their professional services in the following areas: Donor Acquisition and Stewardship, Grant Writing, Promoting Crowdfunding, Sanctuary Development, etc. Note that this volunteer work can be done from your home.
We need volunteers to help increase our online presence. Tasks may include regularly posting pictures or videos on our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) and sharing sanctuary news and fundraising posts as needed. We also need people who have knowledge of social media analytics and effective use of social media ads/promotions.
As we undergo a re-design, an artistic eye is needed to assist in graphic design.
We are looking for volunteers with experience in photography or videography to assist with photos and videos for various purposes (examples: events, fundraising).
Clover Ridge is often in need of volunteers to help with ongoing maintenance such as: property maintenance, carpentry, electrical, painting and landscaping, etc. These tasks are often only on an as-needed basis. We are currently in need of a carpenter to build a goat playground structure!
We suggest wearing clothing and boots or sneakers that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. During the winter months please dress appropriately for outdoor work including bringing gloves and wearing plenty of layers to keep you warm. If you plan to stay for more than a few hours we suggest bringing lunch to enjoy while here. You may want to check the weather the days you plan to be at the sanctuary and plan accordingly (i.e. raincoat, sunscreen, hat, bug spray).
Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and list the type of group as well as how many will attend. We can then schedule something that fits everyone’s needs. Please note there is a parking limitation and large groups must carpool together.
If you have any special needs, please specify this on the Volunteer Interest form and we will do our best to find the right volunteer task fit for you
For safety reasons, volunteers must be 12 or older. Volunteers under 18 should be accompanied by an Parent or Guardian
